Dr. Dhillon is a board certified pediatric dentist. He graduated from UCSF with a degree in dentistry and completed a 2 year residency in pediatric dentistry at UNLV. He is an active member of the AAPD and the Western Society of Pediatric Dentistry.
Dr. Dhillon currently resides in Las Vegas with his wife and 2 children. Besides spending time with family, in his spare time he loves to travel, exercise, and watch his beloved Raiders play. Currently he is trying to learn more about ice hockey so he can help cheer on our Golden Knights.
Dr. Peter Nguyen was raised in Pomona, California, third of four children. He finished high school at Damien High School in La Verne, California, and earned a Bachelor’s Degree in Biology at UCLA. Afterwards, he completed his dental education at University of Michigan, and returned home to UCLA School of Dentistry for advanced training in Pediatric Dentistry. After two years, Dr. Nguyen earned his Certificate of Pediatric Dentistry while serving as Chief Resident in his second year. As a pediatric dentist, he draws on his experience as a Catholic youth group leader, and grade school and high school tutor.
Working with children has always been a joy for Dr. Nguyen, and he remains young at heart with frequent Disneyland trips and Disney movies. He is excited to join his wife in Las Vegas, who is training as a Obstetrician/Gynecologist. Dr. Nguyen is Board-Certified by the American Board of Pediatric Dentistry, and is a member of the American Dental Associationand the Nevada Academy of Pediatric Dentistry. In his free time, Dr. Nguyen reading, running outdoors, strength training, archery, cooking for his wife after her twelve-plus hour shifts, reading the latest in technology news, and watching and playing basketball.
Dr. Mannimrat Dhillon
Dr. Dhillon was brought up in Monterey, CA and completed her higher education in the San Francisco Bay Area. Dr. Dhillon completed her dental education at the University of the Pacific, Arthur A. Dugoni School of Dentistry in San Francisco, CA, after which she completed a 1-year general practice residency at UNLV to master advanced surgical techniques in general dentistry. She is currently completing her 2-year residency in pediatric dentistry at UNLV, where she is able to teach dental students and volunteer in community outreach activities. She is an active member of the American Academy of Pediatric Dentistry, the Nevada Academy of Pediatric Dentistry, and the California Society of Pediatric Dentistry.
Dr. Dhillon chose to specialize in pediatric patients because she believes it is vital to create positive experiences for younger patients, which in turn encourages a lifetime of dental health. She currently resides in Las Vegas, NV with her husband. She enjoys spending time with family and friends, spoiling her 2-year old nephew, reading fiction and non-fiction works, exercising, cooking, and travelling to new destinations.
